In NYC tonight....

There is the light of a brillant star
One made of many facets of the purest shining crystal
One that is meant to be a symbol of hope for all the world's children
One that is beautiful and precious beyond compare
It's not the one made of Baccarat and suspended high above the streets
It's the one we know and love and hold dearly in our hearts
You're beautiful, Clay... inside and out.... and the world is just beginning to see what we've known all along

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Oh Wru - I so agree. I loved the words of the Unicef guy talking about Clay. And, they would know as they work directly with him.

He always said he wanted to be a role model and still says the same thing almost 4 years later. I support him 100%! Oh, and the pictures, gaaahhh, aren't too shabby either!

A man who says what he means and means what he says. A man who is serious when he says he wants to make a difference in the world. A man that parents do not need to worry about having their children listen to and emulate. A man who just oozes respect for others.

In other words, an excellent role model.

Yup. UNICEF knows what we know. That Clay is an honorable, dedicated and passionate man.

Not everyone gets to be a UNICEF ambassador - they only choose those that they think will be committed to their cause; those who they know to be upstanding citizens. Clay is one of those.

Clay is looking so good these days - I can't help but think he has in fact done what he said he would do in all those interviews. He's taken his life back - he's ready for the exciting things to come. He's matured, he looks confident and happy. And damn, that makes him even sexier.

But, of all the gorgeous pictures I've seen from this ceremony - the ones that stand out are the ones of Clay holding up the little girl and looking at the snowflake together. When that little girl is looking at Clay, it's with such joy. She KNOWS - just like we do.

I could not be prouder to be a fan of Clay Aiken than right now.

He's all growed up. Mature, confident; knows his own mind. And that is so sexy. I love him.
